KEVIN left us on the 9th of February 2005.He had such a hard time of it towards the end.
To me he was the perfect brother i could ever wish for and he would have done anything for his friends and family.
He was extremely caring to all and much loved, always lively and loved socialising,betting and rugby. He was the life and soul of any party.
Kev once streaked at headingley when Leeds played Wigan in front of the sky cameras.He did that for a bet and when he went to court the judge just laughed.
My bruv was such an outgoing person i just wish he could have opened up to someone how he was really feeling!!!
The poem i wrote for his funeral:-
My darling brother we've had some times
Both good and bad in the past
Of all the things that we have done
Here's a few of which will last
Remember we went to spain last year
We had a drink or two
We raced each other up them huge street lights
I showed you what to do
(even tho you said you won)
I wanted an ice-cream when we were kids
My mum she said oh no!!
So i pinched the money out her purse
Off to the van i go
She caught me with the special cone
That i had got for me
She sent me off to bed that day
You got to eat my treat
(you always did get the better of me)
We will mention you to kyle everyday
And say how good his uncle was
With his nephew he used to come round and play
Kev was so special just BECAUSE
Just one last thing to say to you bruv
I got what i wanted from you
I managed to give you a great big kiss
And i am sorry but there was nothing you could say or do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
